Anna is an experienced orchestral musician both on modern and period violin. She is also much appreciated for her abilities as an orchestra- and section leader and is regularly called upon to lead orchestras for baroque performances.
Anna plays regularly with various freelance orchestras, and has covered much of the core orchestral repertoire, as well as oratorios and the choral repertoire.
Anna is also a keen chamber musician and her string quartet and her baroque trio are available for private functions like weddings. Please be in contact to book and discuss a price.
In the summer of 2007 her baroque trio toured Sweden under the name of Baroqolie. All concerts were very well received, the tour was a success, and the trio has been asked back for further engagements in the future.
Recent performances include Händel’s Messiah and Fauré’s requiem. Coming engagements include a tour to Berlin with Stockholm Baroque Band in February 2009, where the two different programmes will consist of Roman and Händel.
Anna plays a violin labeled Giacomo Rivolta 1804, and a bow by C. Bazin. Solo repertoire currently being studied includes Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, Mozart Violin Concerto No 5 in A, Bach Sonatas and Partitas, and Rode Studies.
