ABOUT ANNA HANSEN

 

 

Hi! My name is Anna Hansen. I am not quite sure whether I should go professional or personal in this part so I think I will just  keep it simple.

  Inspired by a close friend I started shooting few years ago and I finally fell into something that completely suits me.

  I get totally immerged in taking photos and love when my pictures help people see the beauty in themselves or when I manage to capture the essence of a person.

I frequently photograph my sons - they see the world differently, without bitterness, and they often express a lot more love and emotion than adults. Being able to capture that is both a fantastic photographic challenge, and a profound learning experience.

 

I truly believe that" the reward of our work is not what we get, but what we become". Photography changed me and changed the way I see things - I've learned more about myself, what I value, and how I see the world. It’s actually quite an incredible transformation to experience.

 

I shoot with a Nikon D800 using my favorite 50 mm f 1.4 and 35mm art lenses.
